Brocher Declaration
To build consensus amongst various stakeholders, AGHP arranged for a multi-party conference sponsored by Fondation Brocher to be held in Geneva, Switzerland, in May 2020. This was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The “Brocher Declaration” was to be launched at the conference. In lieu of a formal launch, AGHP held a series of priming conference calls and follow-up conversations with stakeholders from around the world.
The resulting Declaration, which is a statement of ethical principles for guiding policy on short-term global health engagements, has been endorsed by organizations from around the world.
